Current Show Jingle Bell Jamboree Friday, November 7, 2008 (no show scheduled for December at this venue) Singers Polly and Lenny feel their careers are tanking because their agents are not getting them the right songs or publicity. In an effort to save their careers the two have agreed to sing a duet for the Holidays. They are hoping this new song will catapult them into a top ten hit. But the song writers hired by their agents can’t seem to get their acts together. They call upon their fans to help them write their song. Can the duo come up with a song in time for their Holiday performance? Join Mayhem & Mystery for their annual Holiday Fun! Upcoming Show Snow-bunny Sabotage January 9 & February 6, 2009. The Slip-n-Slope Lodge has announced its Grand Opening, much to the chagrin of its neighbor, the Mogul Mountain Lodge. Owner Pamela Glissade is hoping her special take on the Ski Lodge theme will attract a lot of skiers and make her the most popular Lodge in the area. Unfortunately, Pamela has heard rumors that her competitor, Dusty Drifts likes to sabotage any and every resort that starts in the area. Pamela is hoping her staff will show their stuff and keep things running tip top. Pamela is visited by Albert Pine, a skier who is laid up with a broken leg – or is he? When Dusty winds up missing, fingers point to Pamela. Did she do it? Help us find the truth.
Future Shows Cosmos Crossing March 6 & April 3, 2009. The annual convention of the fans of the “Cosmos Crossing” show is a space odd-i-see like no other. The fans like to dress as characters of the show and act out their favorite scenes. Rhonda dreams of being like her favorite character, Cassiopeia. When Cassie arrives, Rhonda can barely contain her excitement. Cassie and her co-star, Orion, seem to be quite the couple, until Rhonda sees Orion with someone else. Rhonda invites Cassie and Orion to join in the next re-enactment. But something goes wrong and Orion is injured. All fingers point to Rhonda. Did she do it? You decide.
Another One Bites the Dust May 8, 2009. Backstage at the annual “Canny” awards, musicians, executives, writers, and producers hang out, eat, and wait for their chance to shine on stage. The competition for “Rock Band of the Year” has Metal Mouth Mack going head-banging to head-banging with Jammin’ Joyce. Who will win? No one wants to receive the “UN-Canny” Award for being the bottom of the stack. Then one of the presenters dies, and it is a battle of the bands to find the killer.
No public shows are currently scheduled at the Old Barn Out Back for May, June, July, or August. Mayhem & Mystery will be available for private parties during these months for any groups wishing to schedule a performance. Please contact our office for more details.
